Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Ganesh Temple canteen with Anne Noyes Saini, Founder and Editor of City Spoonful, an online publication on food and culture in New York City. Although a temple in Flushing Queens may be the last place you’d look to dine out, their cafeteria actually serves up some of the best South Indian cooking I’ve tasted in the city.
